Zero Hunger

Goal 2: Zero Hunger - End hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

Hunger Is the Leading Cause of Death in The World

Hunger has no boundaries. It affects millions of children, seniors, and households in communities across the globe. Every night, 8.9% of the world's population, or nearly 690 million people, go to bed on an empty stomach, and as a result of COVID-19, world hunger and malnutrition levels have further worsened dramatically.

Undoubtedly, this wonderful planet has provided people with tremendous resources, but unequal access and inefficient handling leave millions of people malnourished. A particular focus must be on food security for boys, girls in puberty, and pregnant women, who face the greatest risk of starvation and malnutrition. If people promote sustainable agriculture with modern technologies and fair distribution systems, it will be possible to feed the whole world’s population and ensure that nobody will ever suffer from hunger again (United Nations , n.d.).
